Despite rising years, Cyclop is pretty consistent and on a roll. Potters Legend led for a long way when third in one of these at Doncaster and Saint Xavier won a similar contest at Haydock in November and ran well again at Sandown in January when Sir Ivan and Chirico Vallis were both well beaten. Commodore has his sights lowered and Kapcorse seeks a third course victory but Ruthless Article is running for the first time since July. BOLDMERE (NAP) is best on galloping tracks like this and will take all the beating if in the same mood as when winning easily at Doncaster last month.
