Trilemma gets the call here ahead of Stoop To Conquer, Desert Island Disc and Bill Bennett. The upside to the selection's chances are that she comes here on a roll - seeking a fourth successive win and looks to have better to come. The possible negative is that she has never been tested on going this soft. Stoop To Conquer is four pounds above the mark from which he won over 14 furlongs at Goodwood in August but, lightly raced, has to be given a chance. Despite the fact that he is due to drop four pounds in the ratings, Desert Island Disc runs and he certainly remains on a competitive mark, while Bill Bennett will have needed his latest outing and is not too far above his summer winning marks. Of the others, Tomina is lightly raced and improving but is untried on the going; Teresa hasn't followed up her Kempton promise in April but is now well weighted if things suddenly click for her; Dr Cerullo put in a fair effort at Goodwood last time but is unproven at the trip and on the going, while much as Marine City is eight pounds better off for the five and a half lengths she finished behind the selection last time, does not look a straightforward ride. This brings us back to the selection, which is Trilemma.
