Verdict

Greatest Time finished ahead of Escarpment when runner-up at Newmarket in September and is also preferred to stablemate Yesisaidyes. Elraaed is a likely improver on his reappearance but a couple have more recent form including Lingfield fourth Sugar Hill and CRACKSKING. The latter was beaten less than a length when third at Kempton on his debut and James Fanshawe’s Frankel colt makes most appeal. The Jackler is a half-brother to a French 1000 Guineas winner while Golspie is a brother to a winner in France and To Catch A Thief is another newcomer to note.
