In depth

Verdict

Some choicely-bred types in opposition but Trade Fair sets a fair standard and is the TEAMtalk selection to confirm the promise of his debut effort last month. Roger Charlton's charge finished an honourable third behind subsequent Champagne Stakes hero Almushahar and, with the form also franked by the runner-up, it will be surprising if this well regarded son of Zafonic cannot prevail. Texas Hill makes plenty of appeal on breeding being from the same family as Royal Hunt Cup winner True Panache and should be noted in the market but, along with fellow newcomer Moarban, he lacks a big race entry while Snow's Ride has place claims after an encouraging debut effort.
