Sovereign Waters wasn't disgraced on her debut at Salisbury but this looks likely to fall to one of several nicely-bred newcomers. Richard Hannon's Ballyea cost 75,000gns and is a half-sister to the useful Rakaan. Richard Hughes partners her in preference to stable companion Rain Dance and she makes more appeal than Brian Meehan's High Chaparral filly Madame St Clair. John Gosden hasn't run many two-year-olds so far but those that have made the track have generally run well and QUESTING can follow that trend in this. A half-sister to a couple of winners in the States, her dam was a smart sort in France up to 7f and she may well be good enough to make a winning start.
