Dell' Arca has staged a revival this season and seeks a third course victory but a few of these may be better handicapped. Mint Condition looked to have a better chance in a Grade 2 at Haydock yesterday but fellow novice Polish could go well back over 3m. Silent Assistant is still seeking a first win but looks a dour stayer and Southfield Harvest has been threatening to get his head back in front over shorter trips and won over 3m at Ludlow last season. Dhowin could go well at a price and Everglow, engaged at Wincanton yesterday, is better than he showed in the Lanzarote at Kempton while Es Perfecto ran well against the well-regarded Bravemansgame here in November. SIZABLE SAM is a strapping sort who will make a chaser but he’s 2-3 over hurdles and seems the type to keep finding more when required so get the nod.
