In depth

Verdict

Brave Kingdom beat a previous winner at Plumpton having a first run in almost two years. He is sure to improve on that while Hector Javilex looks the type to make a chaser having already placed between the flags. Pulling Stumps will have needed his run at Exeter and Theatre Man chased home a subsequent winner here on chasing bow. AMRONS SAGE was only headed on the run-in at Exeter and was clear of the third. That will have taught him plenty and he’s already won a point over this trip.
