Verdict

High And Mighty has slipped down to a most attractive handicap mark but is on a long losing sequence and has a three-month absence to overcome so is perhaps best watched. Kaparolo is a thorough stayer who should appreciate the step up in trip but has not been seen since a dismal performance on his handicap bow at Goodwood last month and now has something to prove. Malarkey should go well having been raised 5lb for his latest success at Sandown but TEAMtalk preference is for Bid For Fame. The Terry Mills-trained five-year-old didn't beat much at Kempton last time but did the job in facile fashion so may be able to offset a subsequent 3lb rise under his very capable apprentice.
