Verdict

Golden Birthday probably needed the run when losing his unbeaten record on the Flat at Lingfield. It’s too soon to write off Harry Fry’s charge, though he has crept up the weights. LOOK MY WAY (NAP) beat Champagne Champ by a wide margin at Ffos Las in the autumn. He’s been running well in good company over hurdles over the winter and has the going in his favour again so a big run is anticipated. Injam hasn’t many miles on the clock and is a real soft-ground specialist so should give supporters a run for their money. Jukebox Jive is a course and distance winner but, like Cape Cova, might struggle in the conditions under a big weight.
