Muthabara is put forward as the confident choice in this Group 3 contest, with Nahoodh and Michita are the others for the shortlist. The selection could not have been any more impressive when winning a Listed race at Sandown back in July and from a high draw she can put her speed to good use here. She may do better over slightly further in time but nonetheless she looks a smart prospect and she sets the benchmark for the rest. Nahoodh is well-regarded by her trainer Mick Channon and she ran out an impressive winner of the Lowther Stakes at York back in August. She should see out this longer trip and with proven Group form she should run a massive race. Michita looks a smart prospect on the evidence of her debut win at Yarmouth, and although her yard are in form, this is a steep rise in class and she will need to have progressed significantly to win this. Michael Bell has his string in good order at present so don't be surprised to see Savannah Poppy go well at a price. However, Muthabara is taken as the pick.
