Verdict
Cracboumwiz is an intriguing contender, however QOZAK rates as an interesting newcomer and gets the nod over Schiehallion, Quarl Ego and Nearby. A winner of four flat races in the French provinces, connections start this 12 furlong horse off at the minimum distance. Although he has not been at the yard for long, there have been positive noises emanating about him and he should run well. Nearby is another ex-French who had his first UK start recently; he stopped as if something was amiss but is not one to rule out just yet. Come On Jonny was decent on the flat but is yet to fire over hurdles, Pine Native represents a yard capable of providing a winning newcomer, whilst Shenanigan ran a fair race on debut. Schiehallion has had his jumping problems but he remains a horse of some potential; he won a bumper at the track before and is not one to give up on just yet. Rocky River's stable are not in fine form and so it is Qozak who we'll take a chance on.
