      Verdict

      SIR DANCELOT (NAP) finished well ahead of Librisa Breeze when landing last year’s renewal having also won the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood before that. He’s following the same path this season having scored again at Goodwood last month, with Hey Gaman in second and Flaming Spear, Donjuan Triumphant and Space Traveller all further behind. Collateral form with Hey Gaman also gives David Elsworth’s charge the beating of Safe Voyage so he gets the vote. The latter landed a Group 3 at Haydock earlier, however, and Glorious Journey ran well in the Criterion Stakes over today’s trip at Newmarket on his penultimate start.
