Verdict

Guardino improves with every run but, unbeaten in bumpers, PULL AGAIN GREEN was just denied by the odds-on Doctor Ken on his hurdling debut at Ascot. That looks stronger form than Shearer’s neck second at Wincanton, though the Nicholls’ novice will surely be hitting the target soon. Wonderwall wasn’t disgraced in the Champion Bumper in March and that race is always a good source for novice hurdle winners but The Boola Boss will need to improve on his third at Bangor. Maclaine was an eye-catcher in a bumper here last month but Another Mystery weakened quickly at Ascot. Dom Of Mary is best watched having a first run for new connections.
