Saint Lawrence was only fourth in this grade at Ascot and is starting to look a little exposed. William Bligh may also lack a little scope and four of their rivals made a winning start to their careers and are open to plenty of improvement. The Frankel colt DHAHABI only won by a neck at Newmarket but was very green and is probably a lot better than the performance suggests. He can get the better of course and distance winner Guru and Ascot scorer Jumby but Francesco Guardi’s victory at Salisbury is not working out.
