This looks as competitive as ever - though only one winner has returned at double-figure odds in the last 10 renewals. Mujassam returned from a short break with an eight length romp at Salisbury but has a 14lb hike to contend with. Exchequer went close at Doncaster last month when ahead of Major Crispies and is preferred to stablemate Misterioso while Sir Robert Cheval has every chance on his recent form in higher grade handicaps. But CAPTAIN BOB also drops in class after a good effort at York with Withernsea behind and given Charles Hills won this as recently as 2013 with Glenn Moss, he gets a speculative vote. Firmdecisions could go well back in this grade and makes more appeal than Mullionheir and Pastoral Player.
