Verdict

Point West has problems in the jumping stakes but Morestead ended a long losing run at Wincanton last month, though it was back to normal at Hereford next time and he's never won off a mark this high. Goring One is a possible, however, as he's versatile as to trip and was only beaten a head in a driving finish over 3m at Lingfield on his latest start. Viable is less consistent but was second at Huntingdon last time and The Boss could improve for the fitting of blinkers and was fourth over C&D in January off a higher mark. BACK BOB BACK looked like justifying market support at Exeter last month but blew up at second-last having travelled strongly to that point. Tom George's six-year-old deserves a chance to recoup losses.
