We will shortlist Nitelite, Shuil A Maidin and Tambourine Davis, with the vote going to Nitelite. Nitelite cost 32,000 guineas, is related to winners and, if backed, would be of interest. Shuil A Maidin certainly catches the eye on breeding, as does Nicky Henderson's Tambourine Davis, a 62,000 euros purchase whose dam is a half-sister to Klairon Davis. Both are very much respected. Over The Flow's Exeter second last time suggested that she is up to winning a race of this nature, while Gary Moore's Falcon Beneficial, Seamus Mullins' Forest Emerald and Keith Reveley's Heavenly Chorus are all ones to have something to like on breeding, as does Jamadast Roma, a half-sister to Ollie Magern. Little Laurita is related to a bumper winner, and it is interesting to see Gay Kelleway running one here in Run To Me. Finally, Inherent was backed at Doncaster last time and is surely better than he showed there and David Evans' She's Humble should be given the once over in the market too. Overall, though, we will stick with Nitelite, but watch the betting.
