A bit of rain wouldn't go amiss for Watch Amigo however he's reluctantly passed over in favour of SARASOTA SUNSHINE. She impressed when sauntering home here last month and although she has since suffered defeat off this new mark it appears that she was unfortunate to bump into the well-handicapped Waveband. Johnny Murtagh looks an interesting jockey booking for a yard that has used him well in the past and she looks the horse to side with. Manassas probably has a tough task under top-weight after a 3lb rise for a Newmarket defeat, and bigger threats may emerge in the well-handicapped Prince Apollo and the progressive Watch Amigo. Elsewhere Richard Hughes may be able to eek out some improvement from Fleeting Echo, Oil Strike is up in the weights but his consistency means he merits respect, whilst Averoo is opposable on recent form but he did team up with Mr Fallon for victory back at York in June. Stevie Gee still looks well-handicapped despite a 6lb rise for his Pontefract win.
