      Verdict

An open renewal with Surrey Mist dropping back down in trip and making his handicap debut along with INVERNESS. The latter found life tough in the Derby trial at Epsom on his return but stayed the distance well enough and Charlie Hills’ yard remains in top form. Israr came up short at Newmarket on his handicap bow but is not out of this while Red Vineyard is upped 5lb for winning at Sandown and is preferred to Mr Big Stuff. Luminous Light and Marsoul are others handicapping for the first time with the former partnered by Ryan Moore.
