In depth

Verdict

Fergal and Fern O’Brien won this last year and CASTEL GANDOLFO has been in decent form over hurdles. Placed in two of only three previous outings on the Flat, he gets the vote. Singing The Blues won over a longer trip at Ffos Las under today’s rider while Psyche completed a double for Freddie Gordon with last month’s Wolverhampton success. Frontispiece is partnered by a leading amateur and is preferred of the rest.
