      Verdict

      HOME OF THE BRAVE just missed out on a treble when runner-up in a Group 2 at Goodwood last month. But he still finished ahead of Markaz and is preferred to the unpredictable Richard Pankhurst, who also carries Godolphin’s colours. Convey looks a bigger threat as he picked up a Listed race over a mile at Pontefract last time while Jallota was placed in a Group 3 in France on his penultimate start. Dark Emerald and Golden Steps are both smart handicappers but look to have a bit to find in this.
