In depth

Verdict

SINGING SHERIFF (NAP) showed further progress on the all-weather over the winter. He’s yet to win on Turf but can now race off a 16lb lower mark on this surface and Ed Walker’s charge can take advantage. It was soft going when Edmond Dantes won at Goodwood last summer though he’s only 2lb higher today with Ryan Moore on board while Deinonychus would also prefer plenty of cut. Torolight and Isle of Wolves have been hurdling but don’t look particularly well treated back on the Flat and the The Game Is On is preferred while Mercury Dime is the least exposed and makes her handicap debut.
