In depth

Verdict

Mister Musicmaster went up 6lb for a comfortable victory at Bath but has never won from a mark this high. Lady Sylvia was in excellent form in the autumn and will have needed her comeback at Bath last month while HECTOR'S CHANCE is the only course winner having gained his only victory on Turf in 2013. The latter is 10lb lower than on the all-weather so has to be the selection as the ultra-consistent Rafaaf, who hasn't run on Turf since 2012, is much better handicapped on the all-weather. Berkeley Vale will attract support with Ryan Moore on board as he's carried big weights in his last two starts at Lingfield, winning the latest in comfortable style for which he's been raised 7lb.
