Verdict

The betting may offer some clues but a speculative vote goes to GENTLEMAN’S RELISH representing last year’s winning yard, though he was well beaten on soft ground here back in March along with Grand Sabre and Tommie Gun. Harbour Bridge finished fourth at Worcester on his debut in August while Hell Hound, Laurens Bay and David's Well have form between the flags and debut under Rules. Pillar Rock, Pure Carbon, Honey Jack and Another Fine Mess are among the newcomers to note.
