A wide open maiden here and as usual in these types of events the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Magic Mountain, Farseeing and Noddle and the tentative vote is given to Magic Mountain. The selection hails from a yard in top form and this well bred Dr Fong colt, half-brother to winners up to Pomfret is taken to make a winning debut from a good draw. Farseeing rates the main danger as he also hails from a yard that does well with it's Juveniles and this Cape Cross colt, half-brother to numerous winners up to 1m4f should be closely watched in the market. Moddlij is a Cape Cross colt, half-brother to 1m4f winner Champagne Shadow but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Kilburn was a fair third on his debut behind Prince of Elegance and is sure to improve. Of the remainder Master Golfer is another from a top yard and could go well but for the winner we return to Magic Mountain.
Chataway Mujahid gelding, half-brother to 5f winner Gilt Linked.
Fereeji Cape Cross colt, half-brother to numerous winners up to 1m4f.
