The top three in the handicap all won maiden races last time and look to have this between them. Jockey bookings suggest Sandown winner Downturn is the stable choice ahead of Cricklewood Green but the latter beat a subsequent winner at Salisbury last month and isn't out of this. It's a tough call between the Hannon pair, so NEZAR may prove better value as he also beat a subsequent winner when scoring at Windsor on his introduction and this longer trip looks sure to suit. The remainder have shown nothing like the form of the principals and are hard to fancy as a consequence.
