In depth

Verdict

Salim Toto has looked a most progressive individual and she was narrowly touched off in one of the listed contests of the season last time out. She is backed to gain compensation in a tough race. Love Everlasting bids to make back-to-back successes but looks out of form at present although the jockey booking and stable form are positive. Bright and Clear has been a bit of a disappointment this year after promising much earlier in her career. She is in receipt of the age allowance and could give the favourite something to think about if she is able to put her best foot forward. Frosty Welcome has been brought along patiently by her trainer and comes here off the back of a listed success at Newmarket. Sunray Superstar won an egg-and-spoon race at York last time out but is strictlty held on the book. Zanzibar is watched on her return from a long absence.
