A large turnout for the finale, with many in with a shout but Dayglo Dancer, Spanish Gold and Captain Hardy are the trio we prefer, with the latter getting a tentative vote. Captain Hardy has been running well of late, posting a good second to Jacaranda here on 11 June, and although both his wins have been on the all-weather at Woverhampton, it would be no surprise at all if he were to prevail from stall 22. Really though it is an event not to play too heavily in, with many dangers such as topweight Dayglo Dancer, a gutsy winner at Chepstow the time before last. Spanish Gold will appreciate the drop back in trip, having failed to last out over a mile, while Look Here Now would be one to consider if the going changed to soft. All in all a bit of guesswork is required but Captain Hardy is saddled with our vote.
