    Verdict

It was soft ground when Celtic Art won at Lingfield last month and he was pulled behind Under Control at Sandown late last season. Nicky Henderson’s filly has only been beaten once so far over hurdles and that was in a Grade 2 but she’ll need to be fully primed on her reappearance to give 4lb to BRENTFORD HOPE, who was always travelling like a winner here last month. The one concern is that he will be effectively carrying 14lb more today. Hansard chased home the smart Rubaud in the Elite Hurdle at Wincanton and Niall Houlihan takes off 3lb while Ascot third Bad will be winning sooner rather than later but Our Champ looks in the handicapper’s grip now.
