This is a competitive-looking novices' handicap and most of these have plenty of scope for improvement. Benhair, Merry King, Master Neo and Global Power all won last time - the latter could be well treated on his hurdles form. Seven Woods finished ahead of Master Neo when third to Houblon Des Obeaux at Worcester and could be sharpened up by blinkers while Godsmejudge made a promising start over fences behind Safran de Cotte at Stratford and should strip fitter here. The longer trip will suit Ascot third ROLLING ACES and, already a winner over fences in point-to-points, the six-year-old can open his account under Rules here as Bennys Mist has had his limitations exposed lately and Sherwani Wolf disappointed again when favourite at Wetherby.
