This is a very competitive handicap for a midweek fixture with many of these three-year-olds still relatively unexposed. Scampi ran his best race so far over course and distance last month but Sonning has been a beaten favourite twice since scoring at Beverley. Moktasaab has headed the market in his last three starts but has yet to win while Set Point may benefit from a drop back in distance. Sea La Rosa easily landed the odds at Chepstow and the well-bred Haggas filly makes her handicap debut but the longer trip is likely to suit KING OF TSAVO, who hung under pressure when second at Haydock but will strip much fitter today. Course and distance winner Reina Del Mar and the maiden Gustav Holst can also play a part.
