In depth

Verdict

Hidden Bounty may be able to make the most of the weight he receives and is selected ahead of Tana River and Too Forward. There's a slight concern as to how well Too Forward will see out this trip but he's just one pound higher than when last successful and looks to have retained his form. Tana River seems sure to give his running but others could be better handicapped. Briery Fox also looks handicapped to the hilt but Tango Royal is back on a winning mark, has won here and would be of interest if the vibes were positive. Kandjar D'Allier may find this trip beyond him and Royal Auclair is of more appeal but this race looks ideal for Hidden Bounty who has had just 9 starts over fences in a relatively light career. His Doncaster fourth to King Harald was as good a race as he has run despite him getting loose at the start. The application of blinkers is a slight concern but he's no problems with trip or ground and Hidden Bounty is taken to plunder this prize.
