Battleroftheboyne's fine run came to an end at Cork last week but a return to the minimum trip could see a return to form from what still looks a fair mark. Acroleina has been in excellent form at Dundalk but she's now been beaten three times off lower marks than this since her victory in February. Calm Bay hasn't won as often as he should have on Turf but he likes it here and when conditions are in his favour he's up to this so looks a threat with Connor King's claim a bonus. However, he finished almost two lengths behind ENTER THE RED when they occupied the places behind Lily's Prince at Cork last week and it's about time the latter, who has won just once in 23 starts on Turf, was doubling his tally. Zaindera's massive weight is greatly alleviated by the promising Jack Kennedy's claim and she ran very well at Dundalk last time.
