A strong line-up for an ordinary prize and LOCAL CELEBRITY looks another potentially useful performer for his yard. A winning bumper, he was carried out on his hurdling bow before beating a huge field to land his maiden on this track. He made all to beat a decent field over 2m at Sligo when last seen in May and though this is a much longer trip he looks the one to beat. Make A Track, unbeaten in two bumpers, has no problems with the trip as his close fourth in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham suggests. He looked to have had enough for the season on his final start in April and could just need this. Noel Meade has his horses in good form so the four-year-old Bat Masterson is one to keep an eye on but Carabinier scored twice over fences earlier this year and may find a couple of these too quick. The very progressive Beachdale Lad beat a huge field at Cork and along with the consistent Reafadda makes this an intriguing race.
