Lord Erskine, who won this in 2020, had been in winning form on the Flat before reverting to hurdles with a fine run at Punchestown a week ago and looks to have been primed for this. Jungle Prose also ran at Punchestown last weekend, completing a hat-trick in impressive fashion, though a 16lb rise makes this much tougher. Bay Ambition returned from a break and a spell over fences with a very good effort at Clonmel but this can go to REBELLIOUS GALE. Tony Martin's charge was beaten just over three lengths by Jungle Prose at Down Royal at the beginning of the month and is a massive 24 lb better off.
