Verdict

SHARE THE HONOUR wouldn't win this on his hurdles form of last season but he's improved significantly on the level this summer, scoring at Galway in August before an unlucky run at Leopardstown last month. He's on a lowly mark back over timber and can take advantage. Kilkeaskins First made great strides last year, defying a 9lb rise for an easy victory at Kilbeggan with another comfortable success at Navan in September. He has a long absence to overcome but Patrick Dempsey can get one ready. Banjo didn't stay 2m4f at Cork after just failing to concede 27lb to Baby Bellini at Galway and Paul Townend is a significant booking while Western Honour was having his first start for Gordon Elliott when just touched off at Thurles and makes his handicap debut. Warnaq, who won on the Flat at Naas three weeks ago, has only had four runs over timber and has shown plenty of promise.
