BEAUTY CRESCENT followed a promising debut at Cork with a fair effort over this course and distance the following month, when Phil's Dream was behind, and should have improved enough to take this. Congo River has been disappointing since a fair debut and was beaten a long way in a soft-ground Galway nursery while Jackstaff found 7f too far at Gowran. Not Just Yet was 11th of 12 at the Curragh on Saturday though wasn't beaten all that far.
