Maid In Manhattan won four of her last five on the Flat in 2019 but has been in poor form over hurdles. Lady Dahlia took advantage of heavy ground to land a Curragh maiden and won't have those conditions here but stable companion MELLIFEROUS (NAP) looks to have a chance of losing her maiden tag. Beaten just a length in a 2m Dundalk handicap last month, she had her first start on Turf at Leopardstown a few days later over a trip much too short and looks on a really handy mark. Buckman Tavern's only success came on heavy going but winning chaser Shumaker will have no problems with the trip. Believe Jack was engaged in the 4.40 at Limerick yesterday.
