Gordon Elliott has a fine record in this and has two entries this time. Cogryhill looked a potentially useful stayer when making most on his hurdling debut over 2m6f at Down Royal and can only improve but faces much better opposition including his stablemate Dallas Cowboy, who made all for an impressive victory at Wexford. Falcon Crest impressed those who saw him beat that good yardstick Crown Of Gold at Fairyhouse, though that was on slightly better ground over the minimum trip. Moylisha Tim showed that staying is his game with a victory over three miles in a Grade 3 at Cork, for which he's penalised, and the 10lb he has to concede to TEN TIMES BETTER might just prove to much. Pat Fahy's mare took some time to win her bumper but relished the move to hurdles when slamming a field of maidens at Clonmel. She's not very big but, receiving weight all round here, she can complete a quick double.
