Verdict

It's impossible to see past ORDER OF ST GEORGE, the winner of half of his 22 starts, though he was beaten when odds-on for this a year ago. However, the winner that day, Torcedor, is much better than today's opposition and last season's top stayer should have few problems making a successful return. Jedd O'Keefe has found a nice opportunity for Lord Yeats to earn some decent prize money though he was beaten 24l behind the selection in the Irish St leger. He reappeared last season with two cracking victories so obviously goes well fresh. Clongowes will probably be campaigning over this sort of trip this season after staying on very strongly over 1m5f at Leopardstown in September and it shouldn't be long before he's winning again.
