Verdict

Make Good made great strides in 2020 culminating in a convincing victory at Cheltenham in December. He's had just three runs on the Flat subsequently and was beaten a short-head over 1m6f on heavy ground at the Curragh last month so appears to have retained all of his ability. Gortmillish completed a double in maiden and novice company during the summer while his yard have three other entries with Arctic Ambition looking on a fair mark under Danny Gilligan's claim. The lightly-raced SLANE HILL, a maiden winner at Naas in December, scored on his chasing debut at Kilbeggan in April and is on a 7lb lower mark back over timber so gets the nod.
