EMPEROR OF ROME wasn't far behind subsequent Listed winner Pipsy at the Curragh and though beaten a long way in a nursery at Naas on Saturday was badly impeded and eased. He wouldn't be out again so quickly unless thought capable of doing much better. Heavenly Being hasn't been beaten far in any of her three races though needs to find a finishing burst as does Beano Power, who couldn't find extra in a lucrative Cork nursery last month. Valentino Express only weakened in the closing stages over slightly further in a strong Curragh maiden earlier this month.
