Very few without a chance in a wide-open handicap. Cliff House made all for a convincing victory in a strong handicap at Punchestown and though 7lb higher has gone well from higher marks in the past. Prospectus won on the Flat in heavy going here last April and the lack of a recent run is never a concern for one from his yard while Martello Park, another with a long absence to overcome, looked a nice prospect when last seen last January and could be a blot on this handicap. The former's stable companion Ejayteekay will be better for last month's fine run at Naas but SERIOUS EGO was winning over hurdles for the first time a couple of weeks ago when easily accounting for today's rival Sil Ver Klass at Leopardstown. Not surprisingly the assessor has had his say with a 13lb rise and the runner-up should get closer though Gordon Elliott's charge can confirm the form and take this. Edelpour was beaten a long way into second when odds-on for a Clonmel maiden but today's conditions will play more to his strengths.
