BARNEYS HONOUR is holding his form well, despite rocketing up the weights, and was a fair third off his new mark at Gowran nine days ago. A 7lb claimer takes over the reins from Paul Carberry and that gives him a chance of returning to the winner's enclosure. Sir Ector will have needed last week's run at Naas and has a chance on his form last summer but Miley Shah, Silk Hall and Shamiran have been off the track for a while, as has The Four Elms. Mount Colah could be interesting, however, as he had little chance at the weights at Leopardstown earlier this month and should find this more to his liking. Seader won at Ayr in January and is another to consider.

Mount Colah (IRE) 16-1 (11-3) Prominent and led after 1st, raced keenly and clear with 2nd from 3rd, hit 4 out and extended advantage next, strongly pressed and headed next, no impression on easy winner from early straight and dropped to 3rd last, no extra, 8th of 14, 23l behind Fosters Cross (11-0) at Leopardstown 2m 2f hdl sft.
Shamiran (IRE) 9-2 (10-10) Chased leader in 2nd, led after 3 out, ridden and challenged 2 out, soon disputed, narrowly headed run-in, no extra closing stages, 3rd of 10, 1 1/2l behind Lough Ferrib (10-12) at Listowel 2m hcp hdl hvy in Sep.
