Robin Des Mana is 2-7 over fences and landed a Punchestown handicap on New Year's Eve. He makes the odd mistake and has to concede 7lb to DRUMCONNOR LAD, which may prove beyond him. Adrian Keatley's charge has come up against decent opposition in his two starts over fences and ran a fine race behind the odds-on Livelovelaugh at Cork last month. That would probably suffice here and there should be more to come so he looks the one to be on. Ice Cold Soul won a very tough handicap over hurdles at this time a year ago but has failed to impress in two runs over fences. The latter remark also applies to The Irregular, who may also find the ground too testing.
