Golden Jewel was caught on the line in this a year ago and is back on exactly the same mark. He looks to have been targeted again so isn't one to dismiss. Sky Marshall had been in very good form before tackling a similar race at Gowran, where he ran poorly though that wasn't his form. Drumacoo hasn't won for a very long time but bounced back at Fairyhouse and Rachael Blackmore rides for the first time. Barwell looked a very smart prospect when landing a Wexford maiden in October last year but hasn't been seen subsequently while Mengli Khan is better known as a chaser these days and is only 4lb lower over hurdles. Sayo has also been chasing having won at Galway in October though he had his limitations exposed in two starts in top company last month. TOP MOON had been going well over 2m but showed that this is his trip with a smooth victory at Cork. A 7lb rise makes this tougher but it will be a surprise if he isn't competitive.
