Kasbah was just under 2l behind Togoville at Dundalk in September and is just 3lb better off though he's been in better form that the winner over the winter. Ardhoomey was conceding Togoville 10lb when beaten 2l in that race and has already taken revenge on the runner-up so Ger Lyons' lightly-raced charge will be difficult to beat. However, he was receiving 6lb from RUSSIAN SOUL (NAP) when only third at that same track earlier and Michael Halford's veteran, the winner of ten races in his career, still has enough pace to see off his younger rivals. In Salutem scored over the track and trip in October and can race from a lower mark despite having only run twice subsequently so has to be respected.
