This could prove to be a Willie Mullins v Tony Martin match as the champion has three entries taking on DEDIGOUT but it's the latter who looks the one to be on. He had Zaidpour and Briar Hill behind when landing the Grade 2 Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran last month and though that was over three miles he's equally effective over this trip. Zaidpour, runner-up to Dunguib in this a year ago, has become disappointing recently though a strike-rate of 9-32 over timber, including three Grade 1s, is difficult to knock. Briar Hill, unbeaten in six starts before falling when a short-priced favourite for the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham last year, could bounce back but Back In Focus hasn't run since the Champion Novice Chase at Punchestown in 2013 and will be back over fences before long, a remark that also applies to Alderwood, who is also in the Grand National.
