Plains Indian is penalised for winning three times over hurdles, the latest a Listed race over 2m5f at Limerick. He was also conceding 7lb when narrowly beaten into third behind Flaming Moon over this trip in a Galway Listed event in July. The latter pulled much too hard when tackling 2m4f at Cheltenham last month and weakened quickly. Willie Mullins would have had plenty of options for this and goes with HERCULE DU SEUIL, who could hardly have been more impressive when landing a Tipperary maiden last month. Kiki Badger was an easy winner of a Tipperary bumper before landing a Limerick maiden with plenty in hand on his hurdling debut. Imagine impressively won a Punchestown bumper in February and though only scrambling home on his hurdling debut at Wexford will have learnt from the experience. Wexford bumper winner Three Card Brag loved the testing ground on his hurdling bow at Galway so the more rain the better.
