Noel Meade has won this three times in nine years so the presence of Lean Times is respected though he hasn't quite fulfilled expectations to date. Dun Masc, who hasn't exactly been consistent, has had 10 attempts to win a race without success and this looks a tough event. Avoca King landed a Ballinrobe bumper on his debut in April 2009 and was just touched off on his hurdling bow the following month. The fact that he hasn't been seen since is a concern and he may find Duomo Di Milano and DANTES KING too strong for him. The former made a very impressive debut in a bumper here last month and looks a nice prospect while Gordon Elliott's charge, fourth in a strong event at Leopardstown in November, didn't get the best of runs when a short-priced favourite in a Naas bumper last time and can gain compensation.
